Tony Crown

Lead Vocals, Rythym Guitar, Piano, Harmonica

Originally from Boston, MA, Tony moved to St. Louis in the spring of 2000. At the time he didn't know that one of the classmates from his new guitar class would end up becoming one of his band mates almost a decade later.

After receiving an art degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008, Tony moved back to St. Louis to pursue his music career. Within a year he started playing with Jane Tellini and eventually formed the band Jane and Anthony. From 2009 to 2012, Jane and Anthony steadily gigged around St. Louis and eventually were recognized on national T.V. shows such as "Brothers and Sisters" (Waitin' For My Baby To Come), "Hart of Dixie" (Melancholy Moment), and "Hell on Wheels" (Bound For Glory). Shortly after releasing their debut album "Lounge Noir", Jane and Anthony decided to take an extended break to pursue other interests.

Tony then started jamming with his old classmate, Colt, in a local band that eventually brought in Tony's friend/co-worker, Phil, as their drummer. After that band had disbanded, Tony and Phil decided to start their own project, Lawrence and the Lion.

Tony has written new songs almost on a daily basis, so he knew it wouldn't be long until he was in another band with Colt. All that was missing was a bass player. Once Phil had found Paul, Tony knew that it was time to start another band with Colt. That's when the lava started to flow.
